KDBM-KBEV Scholarship
In recognition of her passion for public radio and communications, JoAnn Juliano wishes to establish the KDBM-KBEV Scholarship at the University of Montana Western in Dillon, Mont. The KDBM-KBEV Scholarship will consist of one (1) $500 award annually.
JoAnn Juliano purchased the KDBM-KBEV Radio Station in 1998. She has been a strong advocate for children in this region and works tirelessly to support their success. Her efforts include the annual school supply and coat drive. She was a member of the Dillon Development Corporation and many other organizations in the Dillon community. She wishes to establish this scholarship to promote the importance of communications.
The selection criteria shall be as follows:
- Full time student who is enrolled and in good standing
- Student majoring in English
- Preference to student with a desire to work in communications or radio
- Graduate of Beaverhead Co., Twin Bridges or Sheridan
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Student eligible to receive scholarship multiple years
