Engellant Basketball Scholarship
Established by Kevin and Roxanne Engellant
$1,000 Scholarship awarded to a women's and men's basketball player chosen by the coach, with preference to a student working hard to be in college and to achieve good grades. Preference to a Beaverhead County High School graduate, but ultimately chosen by the coach.
Kevin played basketball at Western from 1986 - 1991. During his time with the Bulldogs, he was honored as an all-conference and all-district athlete and was named academic all-conference all four years. He was inducted into the Bulldog Athletics Hall of Fame in 2003 and again in 2012 for his role as the Head Coach of the 1999-2000 Bulldog Women's Basketball team that made the very first appearance at the NAIA DI National Tournament.
Kevin and Roxanne are both passionate about giving back to Western and in particular to the sport that provided them the opportunity to receive their education.
