Dr. Jane Helm Maddock Service Awards
The University of Montana Western is pleased to announce that the 2025 Dr. Jane Helm Maddock Service Awards will be presented to three exceptional community leaders, John and Phyllis Erb, Barbara Malesich, and Shane Puyear, on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. These individuals are being recognized for their remarkable contributions to UMW and the Dillon community.
The awards dinner and recognition ceremony will begin with a social at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:00 p.m., on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, in the Lewis and Clark Room of Mathews Hall on the UMW campus.
Montana Western will also recognize five outstanding UMW students for their remarkable service and civic involvement. Kaylee Fritz will receive the Montana Athletes in Service award, Emmett Jeschke will receive the Georg M Dennison Civic Engagement Award, and Raina Mortensen, Abigail McClaflin, and Katherine Bills will each be presented with the Dr. Jane Helm Maddock Student Service Award.
